So, maybe someone can help me with this, remember how you could do a solo tour on all of the instruments on the original RB? Is there a way to do that in RB2? I liked it because it forced me to do all the songs. This world tour thingy is a bit all over the place and I haven't unlocked any songs yet.

You should be doing the "Tour Challenges" instead of the normal "World" Tour mode (it's the option under "Start Tour" once you've decided who's playing in the band)

There, you do difficulty based setlists. You start with Band, Fender, Drum, and Vocal Warmups, and completing each of those setlists unlock the next tier challenge for that instrument (Fender splits into Guitar and Bass in the 2nd tier), along with other challenges in that tier (Such as the Warmup Marathon)

Tour challenges also includes DLC challenges (assuming you've bought the right DLC songs for them) and themed setlists (Like 90s Hits)

Tour Challenge mode is the fastest way to unlock new music.

For the Achievement-hungry, there are a few for Tour Challenge mode as well

Along For the Ride - Beat an instrument specific challenge using another instrument (10pts)
Challenge Novice - Beat 25 Challenges on Medium, 10 on Hard, or 5 on Expert (10pts)
Challenge Master - Beat 25 Challenges on Hard, or 10 on Expert (15pts)
Challenge Savant - Beat 25 Challenges on Expert (25pts)
The Final Countdown - Open an Impossible Challenge (15pts)
Stage Igniters - Beat the Impossible Band Challenge (25pts)
Lord of the Strings - Beat the Impossible Guitar Challenge (25pts)
AN-I-MAL!!! - Beat the Impossible Drum Challenge (25pts)
Virtuoso - Beat the Impossible Vocal Challenge (25pts)
Groove Assassin - Beat the Impossible Bass Challenge (20pts)
Buy a Real Instrument Already! - Beat an Impossible Challenge on Expert (35pts)

Yes you can, but challenge for instruments other than your own will be locked (Guitar Challenges cannot be played without a Guitarist, which makes sense)

Also, you can't do Band Challenges (Which require 2 or more band members to play)

But, you can unlock every song by doing a single instrument's challenge line, followed by each of the "Marathon" Challenges that unlock as you progress.

I despise the whole game for having completely spineless developers and publishers. For fun go look at sir psycho sexy by RHCP you will see how terrible these control freaks have gotten. I mean really they censored this song so harshly there are barely any lyrics in it. I can see how they want to keep a teen rating, but who is to say you cant have "offensive" lyrics with warning tag. No one forces anyone to play this song but they sell it to you and its a trainwreck. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEiGvLgP46Q

I had not noticed that but I certainly noticed some "missing words" from several of the songs... I think you nailed it XT - they are trying to stay teen or under to make sure they are not losing sales and marketshare to Guitar Hero... My guess is they figured they will lose less customers as a result of a Nerfed song than if parents won't buy it for their kids...

It's actually quite ridiculous.

It's ruins alot of songs when they cut out "whole verses!" It's XT's video case for example, why the hell even release the song if ur going to cut up the vocals that bad?

In my opinion i think each downloadable song, pack or Album should have its own rating based on the lyrics, or hell even have two versions of it. A clean/dirty version.

Its a slap in the face of the consumer, there should be two versions I mean they had to record the whole track in the first place right, also if you are hard core enough to pay cash money for a song chances are you;re a fan and know the lyrics, I don t know anyone who sings rockband songs and doesnt self insert the censored bits.
