Hi,

I want to get some training but I am worried with WoW EULA. Do you know if there is any risk for my account? I am asking because there are a lot of restrictions on the usage of third services (e.g. buy gold) and I don't know if these restrictions are also applied to training. Can anyone help with this question?

I can't say for sure, but I doubt that it would be a problem.

For the process of buying gold, the third party is selling in-game resources for real-world money.

For our training, we would not be giving you any in-game assets for your money, just training you about how the WoW universe works.

EDIT: Hopefully one of our WoW trainers or the GT founders can clear this up *nudgenudge*

Well, it would appear to me that the problems with the third services selling gold directly violates the terms of use of Blizzard. Which you can find at: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/legal/termsofuse.shtml ... where it states that "Accordingly, you may not sell items for "real" money or otherwise exchange items for value outside of the Game." However, training is not an item. It is simply wisdom from playing the game and I would not feel that it is violating Blizzard's rules since if it did people shouldn't be able to even help out other people in the game which they often do. I am 99% positive that there would be nothing to worry about.

Hi there Left - we have had our legal team look into this and there are no issues... Blizzard is primarily concerned with gold farmers, account sellers and services that take over your account and level it for you. Our goal is to help players get up to speed and enjoy the game without any form of "cheating"

Thanks for your interest - Please feel free to book a training session with us!

I recommend it but can't really do a testimonial because I'm part of the company. But I have worked with our WoW trainers as a COMPLETE n00b and have learned a lot from them. I've never even played an rpg before so you can IMAGINE all the things I needed to know. As a reluctant WoW player, they are making it a much more fun experience.

Good luck!

I'm going to say that it would not be a problem. As far as I know Gametrainer.com doesn't feature anything ingame nor does it use your account. It merely teaches you about the game and how things work. Similar to a friend asking a friend some information about the game.
The things blizzard does not like is buying ingame things with real money as well as account sharing. Which neither happen in this case.

As far as I can see Blizz has no way of knowing you are using the service first off. Secondly it is not against the ToS, so you're in the clear here.
