There's a review from a professional.

Now here's my quick rundown of 'War'

My friend and I basically summed it up as, "WoW, but with everything I didn't like about it fixed." One excellent example is the ability
to gain XP in pvp. That has been brewing around in WoW for a long time now but was never implemented. War does a very good job
of it. War also allows pvp in battlegrounds at level 1 and adjust you to level 8 while in pvp battlegrounds so you don't get instantly
steam-rolled. The questing system in War is also much more quick and easy. WoW's questing is alright, but checking thottbot every
5 minutes gets real old after level 30 in my opinion. What War does is, they have a standard world map, but it marks where you need
to go for quests in red bubbles, which makes questing much faster. The last addition I want to talk about is Public Quests. Public Quests
are an excellent idea. Basically, if you want to do a Public Quest (PQ), you open up a menu that has all the open groups in the nearby
area that are doing PQs or pvp. You can join them, and then go do these quests that have generic objectives such as,"kill 100 of this
monster", then after that objective is complete, another one follows that usually involves elite monsters (called champions), that require
a group to finish. Then after stage 2 is complete, generally a boss monster spawns, you fight him, and then everyone who participated
rolls on loot. These are just a few things of many to note, and if you are looking for a new MMO, I highly recommend it.

See you online,
Primus
