Although this game is 2 years old, it still has a very large community (many of them noobs =p). I know that "Raw Talent" and I are in a clan together, and we are "the best knifing clan" in the game. We have gone undefeated, even against hackers. Unfortunately, knifing is against EA's stat padding rules, so that wouldn't be a good field to train in. Other than that, there are many other aspects of the game that Steve and I are good at. I'm sure we could train a couple people to enjoy the game and play it well.

I like the idea - I know it is a popular game (I have played it with pirategoose a time or two...) and I am all for adding it - need a featured games write up - you feeling up to it? 
Check out the others as a guide...

Battlefield 2142
Battlefield is the most recent PC game of the well-proclaimed Battlefield series. Pitting the European Union (EU) against the Pan-Asian Coalition (PAC) in all out war for the rest of the world’s resources, you are simply just a soldier. When you die, it is not simply game over. You come back as a new soldier, with a shiny new gun, and a tight-fitting uniform. Outlast the enemy or capture all of their strategically important points to win the battle.
Teamwork
Battlefield 2142 incorporates a command system much like in other of the series. Squads of up to 6 men can go rogue, or take direct orders from a commander. If the squad fights well enough, they will be given a field upgrade, which will allow them another unlock for the rest of the round.
Commander
The commander can call in Supply drops, unmanned air vehicles, Sat-scans, Electromagnetic pulse strikes, and orbital bombardments. Commanders usually sit back in the home base, only fighting if in dire need. The seconds between spawning where a commander cannot use his abilities, may be the difference between victory and defeat. If a commander’s ***et is destroyed, he can no longer use that ability until it is repaired by an engineer.
Fully-customizable cl***es
There are four base cl***es: Recon, ***ault, Engineer, and Support. Each cl*** is crucial to victory.
Recon can be equipped with a sniper rifle or ***ault rifle, can pack a punch with 5 pieces of RDX explosives. Camouflage allows him to slip by the battlefield unseen.
***ault are the main battlers, equipped with a med kit, and upgraded with an AED, they can revive men that have been killed in battle.
Engineers are able to destroy, or repair any target on the battlefield. Their motion mines are able to follow enemy vehicles for short distances, with disastrous effects.
Support re-supplies the frontline fighters. They are equipped with ammo boxes, and can even deploy a sentry which may be crucial speed bumps to slow the enemy. Pin them with a sentry, and lob a couple grenades to stop an enemy ***ault.
New Game Mode: Titan
A new game mode, never seen before in the Battlefield series is titan. Two titans are pitted against each other in all-out warfare. Armed with two anti-air gattling guns, and four anti-ground cannons, they are great for ***aulting enemies. Capture missile silos to launch a missile every 2 minutes. Once the shields have been removed, continue to hold the silos, or do a head on ***ault on the titan. Once the four consoles are destroyed, the core room will be open, and ready for destruction.
Like that kinda thing, but possibly shorter?

Nice informative post Ackbar. You should go post it on the BF 2142 open discussion. BF 2142 is a good game and we should definitely add it. Both of us know the ins and out of it too.

It's not so much an upgrade problem, as it is a Vista (Spanish for pain in my arse!) problem....
So very sad really ;-(

Something else to check out is the Star Wars full mod for BF2142 - First Strike.
It's a hefty download (1GB), and it can be difficult to find a populated server, but it's all worth it once your TIE Fighter mixes it up over some far-flung outpost!
