Hey folks, i figured I'd cobble together a list of some of the more useful mods for everyone.

.1 X-perl Unit Frames http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/3416/
X-perl is the best unit frame mod out there. Extremely customizable, easy to read, and 3D portraits to boot.

.2 Titan Panel http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/618/
Titan Panel is one of the most useful mods in the game. It collects tons of great information from your coordinates to your durability to the time. Great for pretty much any cl*** at any level.

.3 ArcHUD http://downloads.curse.com/details/2258/
ArcHUD is a great mod for anyone who doesn't want to look away from the action but still have all their vital information (health, mana, enemy HP) available. It works reasonably well with its default settings, but if you put some time into customizing which bars are where and when they are shown/hidden you can get a gorgeous and useful interface.

.4 Recount http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/8840/
Recount is a damage and healing tracker. It records and saves damage and healing information for you and your party members and can give you breakdowns worth of an MLB statistician. You can get everything from raw damage output and damage per second to what percent of your damage comes from which attack and the hit/miss ratio of most attacks.

.5 Sexy sexy engineering goggles.
Not a mod, but don't you still wish you had them?

.6 Atlasloot http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/2983/
Atlasloot gives you a boss by boss breakdown of every piece of lot obtainable in an instance. Simple. Useful.

.7 ItemRack http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/1482/
Itemrack lets you quickly swap between multiple sets of gear. Not all that useful at low levels, but later on when you have Solo gear, instance gear, PvP gear, riding gear, and resistance gear all rattling around in your bags it makes your life much easier.

.8 Questhelper (Not Pictured) http://www.curse.com/downloads/details/9924/
Questhelper is a mod with a database of every quest in wow. It tells you where objectives are and intelligently calculates the fastest path to complete the quests in your log with minimal travel time.

I have a video on how to add "add-ons" into WoW. Now this looks very easy, so i think im going to try it right now. If anyone else can find another video or any other ways of doing it, add a post on this topic.

Curse-gaming (the site i linked) offers the "Curse Client" its a program that automatically downloads and installs mods from their website. Makes things simple.

Here are a couple of great mods for making some serious gold.

Auctioneer - Makes navigation through the auction house a little easier, and also saves historical data so you can see if something's a bargain. People have used this mod to go from a new character with no help to 100+ gold with some twink blues in about 8 days.

Gatherer - Saves data taken by you (and everyone in your guild!) on locations of herbs, mining veins, chests, and some gathered quest items (un-goro soil).

Also, QuestHelper is amazing! If you're not the Hardcore "I do everything myself without help!" person, QuestHelper will show you where you need to go for the quests that aren't very detailed. It also tells you the progress of your party members doing the same quest.

One, Cut a hole in a box
Two, Put your Junk in that box
Three, Make her open the box

And that's the way we do it...

WowMatrix seems to be a great program for managing and installing mods - and it supports questhelper... give it a try... best of all? It works with a Mac!
